Web Standards + XHTML and CSS
When I heard this week topic about XHTML and CSS, I thought that I know well because I learned these languages before. However, I had no idea about Web Standards. So first, I had to find what Web Standards is and I got this define of Web standards from Wikipedia.
Web standards is a general term for the formal standards and other technical specifications that define and describe aspects of the World Wide Web. In recent years, the term has been more frequently associated with the trend of endorsing a set of standardized best practices for building web sites, and a philosophy of web design and development that includes those methods.
Even though I have found and read that define of Web Standards, I wasn’t quite sure still. so I had to keep reserch more about it.
Here are some sites and video clips link for Web Standards, xhtml and css.
I visited the Web Standards Project at webstandards.org. This site has everything we want to know about web standards. Here is the link for it.
